This Draft Standard for Trial Use provides the format and establishes the data contents of the Canadian Customs Information Transaction Set (311) within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set provides all information necessary for an ocean or rail carrier or freight forwarder to report input and export conveyance and consignment information to Canadian Customs.
