This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the U.S. Customs Consist Information Transaction Set (358) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The transaction set can be used by transportation carriers, terminal operators, port authorities and service centers to provide a list of bills of lading to be carried on a specific conveyance and trip number for which an electronic manifest has been previously filed.
